PATTERNS - COLLAGRAPH PRINTS
This is part of a project based around Indian culture. Here I used Indian patterns to design an intaglio collagraph plate which I then printed using black ink onto white and brown paper. I scraped away the top layer of the collagraph paper for the main pattern and then drew the others using a cutting knife. In addition, I also developed one of my prints further by using white paint to block areas out and create different tones.
